An Elizabeth I East Anglia silver communion cup,
maker's mark possibly that of a Maidenhead in a shield, Norwich circa 1567-8,
tapering circular bowl, engraved with a band and 'For the Tovne of Antyngam', on a tapering stem on a raised circular foot, with stylised decoration on the borders, height 16.2cm, approx. weight 7.1oz.

The town of 'Antyngam', today known as Antingham, is a village 2.5 miles northwest of North Walsham, Norfolk.
This was probably removed from St. Margaret’s Church when the church was dismantled in the 18th century.
