A rare George III/IV silver pierced simulated filigree caddy spoon,
maker's mark only, that of Cocks and Bettridge, Birmingham circa 1820,
oval bowl with two doves supporting an olive branch, with the Prince of Wales Feathers and Royal Crown, the handle with a shield cartouche, initialled, length 7.6cm, approx. weight 0.3oz.

Provenance: Purchased from Woolley and Wallis, Salisbury, The John Norie Collection of Caddy Spoons- Part I, 20th April 2004, lot 253.
