£5,000 raised at Spring Supper

14th March 2020

Five thousand pounds has been raised to help Salisbury-based charity, Horatio’s Garden, following a successful supper evening at Pythouse Kitchen Garden in Tisbury.

Sixty guests attended the exclusive event, sponsored by Woolley and Wallis, with almost a third of those being new supporters of the cause who had not attended one of its regular events before. It was a chance to showcase recent developments at the charity and to hear more about how its support for spinal patients has been able to spread across the UK over the past few years.

Dr Olivia Chapple, co-founder and chair of the trustees at Horatio’s Garden, said she was delighted with the evening’s success. “It was a great opportunity to really rally support for Salisbury and to let people know that their continued support is vital to patients.”

Dr Chapple also expressed her gratitude at the enduring involvement of Woolley and Wallis, who consider Horatio’s Garden one of their principal charity partners. “I cannot thank you enough for your continued support, which made the evening possible. Thank you so much for helping improve the lives of patients and their families at Salisbury’s spinal injury centre – we are so grateful.”
