12th March 2026The Directors are delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Grenyer MRICS as Head of the British and Continental Ceramics and Glass Department at Woolley and Wallis.
Neil brings extensive experience to the role, having previously worked as an independent valuer and served on the Board of Directors at Lawrences Fine Art Auctioneers, where he oversaw the Furniture and Ceramics departments. Earlier in his career, Neil spent five years in the Ceramics and Glass department at Bonhams in London.
Neil joined Woolley and Wallis in April 2022 as part of the Furniture and Valuations teams. With many years of experience cataloguing and appraising European ceramics and glass, he now takes on leadership of the department at an exciting time, with a number of important consignments already secured.
Commenting on his appointment, Neil said:
“Having spent the first five years of my career in the Ceramics and Glass department at Bonhams, I have continued to catalogue and appraise these objects alongside furniture and other works of art for many years. Being appointed Head of the Ceramics and Glass department now feels like a true full-circle moment and I am delighted to take on the role.”
