An unusual Chinese black lacquer fall-front desk, raised on cabriole legs, decorated in gold, silver and red with pavillions and rocky scenes, the sides with birds, butterflies and flowering plants, all with fine metalwork hinges and handles, c.1790, 72cm wide x 93cm high.
