A rare part set of George II/III fiddle thread and shell pattern flatware comprising: six tablespoons, and twelve dessert forks, by Frederick Vonham, London c.1760 (maker's mark and lion passant only), 40oz. (18) * The shape of these spoons and forks shows a distinctly French influence and although quite popular in France this pattern was not to become established in England for another 40 years or so.
