A pair of George III flintlock pistols, with turn off cannon barrels, signed 'W. Proctor' within a cartouche with foliage and spears, the underside stamped 'STRAND LONDON', with various proof marks, engraved trigger guard, one hammer broken, the walnut handle with a carved shell and inset embossed metal trophies of war, a vacant cartouche and butt cap, 9in (23cm) l.
