A mahogany and gilt brass magic lantern by Newton & Co., with a rack and pinion focusing, a black metal chimney and a single door to either side, inscribed 'NEWTON & CO., Opticians to His Majesty the King and the Government, 3. Fleet Street, London.' 47.5cm high, 65.5cm wide, 24.5cm deep.
