A PAIR OF CHINESE RED CINNABAR LACQUER AND JADE WALL VASES
QIANLONG 1736-95
Formed as bottle vases and carved in relief with butterflies, fruit and flowers on a cell diaper ground, the flaring neck carved with stylized leaves, divided by pairs of dragons with shou characters, each inlaid with a pale celadon jade oval plaque, carved in relief with fruiting melon vines and with gilt borders, all raised on a carved hardwood reticulated stand, 20cm.
