A William IV silver raised relief snuff box,

by Thomas Edwards, London 1836

rectangular form, the hinged cover with a hare coursing scene in a countryside setting, silver-gilt interior, foliate scroll thumb-piece, the sides with reeded decoration, and engine-turned base, length 8.2cm, approx. weight 4.6oz.
