A Maya bowl

Mexico

earthenware, with concave sides, the exterior painted with three warrior heads to a white ground, the interior with an orange ground and darker bands,

17cm diameter,

a Maya deep earthenware bowl, with two exterior panels painted a stylised falcon head, a tripod bowl and a deep red-ware lobed vessel. (4)
