A Victorian 1846 pattern Naval Officer's sword, etched blade 31 in., regulation gilt-brass hilt with sword knot, brass mounted leather scabbard, retailed by Frohwein of Portsea; together with a court sword, slender lenticular-section blade 30.75 in with etched decoration, gilt-brass beaded hilt, brass mounted leather scabbard, retailed by Ranken & Co, Calcutta, Lahore and London.
