the brass eight day single fusee movement with crown wheel escapement striking on a bell, with knopped pillars and bob pendulum, with a pierced back cock apron and foliate engraved backplate inscribed 'Richd Raymont / Bury St Edmunds', the brass dial with a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hours and Arabic numerals, with mock pendulum and date apertures, the arch with a rondel inscribed 'Richd Rayment / Bury St Edmunds', the case with a brass handle and a caddy top, with arched and glazed doors, with key and pendulum
