Two dry-bodied stoneware jugs early 19th century
Two dry-bodied stoneware jugs early 19th century, the larger sprigged with a standing portrait of Nelson, flanked by four Classical figures, the neck with foliate sprays on a blue ground, the smaller with a brown glazed roundel applied with Britannia and an angel standing before an obelisk and inscribing a plaque with the names Howe and Nelson, and a small mug with the same application beside four putti with a goat, and doves on a birdbath, minor faults, 13cm max.
