A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'WATER DRAGON' DISH
KANGXI 1662-1722
Painted to the centre with a dragon and a carp emerging from swirling waves, the rim with swirling clouds and prunus blossoms, a six character Chenghua mark to the reverse, 26.5cm.
Provenance: an English private collection, Dorset, purchased from Sydney L Moss on 27th November 1969 for £50, a copy of the original invoice is available.
