A GOOD CHINESE YELLOW-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE ‘FLOWERS AND WUFU’ BOWL
SIX CHARACTER DAOGUANG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1821-50

With deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim, the exterior densely decorated with multi-coloured flowering stylised flowers, including lilies, hibiscus and finger-citron blossoms, set against curling foliate scrolls, the white interior decorated in iron-red with five bats, 15cm.

Provenance: from the collection of Brigadier George Noel Powell DL, (1926-2019).
