IN LIANGZHU CULTURE STYLE

Of tapering square-section form, carved in shallow relief to the exterior with sectional designs containing circular motifs, the carving possibly added later, the stone with russet and cream mottling, 33cm.

Provenance: purchased from Cathay Antiques, London in 1974.
