TWO PAIRS OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE BOWLS AND A PAIR OF DISHES

LATE QING DYNASTY

The larger pair of bowls painted with dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, with six character Guangxu marks and of the period, the smaller pair of bowls painted with stylised flowerheads, the bases with marks reading Ruo Shen zhen cang, the dishes with iron-red bats amidst swirling clouds in underglaze blue, the bases with marks reading Bai Han Zi zhi, 14cm max. (6)

Provenance: from a private collection, Hampshire.
