A COLLECTION OF CHINESE PORCELAIN ITEMS

MING AND QING DYNASTY

Comprising: a famille verte teapot and cover, a famille verte beaker, a blue bowl with a six character Jiaqing mark, a blue and white ovoid 'prunus' jar, a pair of moulded blue and white and café-au-lait tea bowls and saucers, a blue and white globular waterpot with a label for Artemesia Alresford to the base, a blue and white bowl stippled with three characters, a blue and white and café-au-lait tea bowl with an everted rim, two blue and white saucers, a moulded underglaze blue and red saucer, and six blue and white tea bowls, including a pair with four character Chenghua marks and another with a hall mark to the well, 17.8cm max. (21)

Provenance: from a deceased estate, Dorset. The famille verte beaker purchased from C P Sheffield on 23rd January 1986. The teapot, ovoid jar, waterpot and underglaze blue and red saucer purchased from Artemesia, Alresford between 29th August 1991 and 8th October 1999. Copies of the invoices are available.
