A CHINESE CELADON JADE 'BOYS AND SCHOLARS' CIRCULAR TABLE SCREEN
18TH/19TH CENTURY

One side carved with two boys and two scholars crossing a bridge before a pavilion in a mountainous landscape, surrounded by pine and wutong trees, the other side carved with a further two boys and two deer next to a peach tree, with a zitan and boxwood stand, the screen, 21.5cm diameter. (2)

From an English private collection, Hampshire, purchased c.1900.
