A CHINESE BRONZE INCENSE BURNER AND COVER
17TH/18TH CENTURY

Shaped as a deep 'U' shaped cup and raised on a tall splayed foot decorated with lappets, the body cast with rope-twist band encircling tall lotus petal lappets and two bird-mask handles, the reticulated cover cast with two dragons and a ruyi cloud border, the finial formed as a lotus seed pod, with a six-character Xuande mark to the side, 764g, 14cm.
