A TIBETAN BRONZE FIGURE OF GREEN TARA
PALA STYLE, 18TH CENTURY

Seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus base, the right foot resting on a lotus issuing from the base, the right hand held in the gesture of varada mudra and the left in vitarka mudra, flanked by two lotus blooms, 646g, 14cm.

From an English private collection, by repute acquired from Sotheby's London, 28th April 1995.
