Each decorated with formal lotus flowerheads on scrolling tendrils and with floral diaper bands to the shoulders, necks and feet, on a green ground, with Fonthill Heirloom paper labels, no. 217, 53cm. (6)

From the collection of Alfred Morrison (1821-97), Fonthill House, Wiltshire, Fonthill Heirlooms no.217, and then John Granville Morrison (1906-96), 1st Baron Margadale of Islay and thence by direct descent to the present owner.
