A CHINESE SILVER AND GOLD INLAID BRONZE VASE
MING DYNASTY OR EARLIER
The cylindrical body with archaistic scrolling decoration, with two zoomorphic handles with three rings to the base, all supported on three bear-shaped feet, 8cm, 300g.
Provenance: from the Grabowski collection. Christie's London, 16th December 1981, lot 280, purchased by Spinks & Son Ltd for £390 and then the collection of Professor Peter H Plesch and of Mrs Traudi Plesch OBE and thence by descent, collection no.Bm8B.
