A LARGE CHINESE LACQUERED WOOD FIGURE OF GUANYIN

MING DYNASTY

Seated in dhyanasana, with the right hand held in dhyana mudra, the other held flat for support, the face with a serene expression and downcast eyes, wearing an elegantly draped dhoti tied to the waist, embellished with large foliate earrings and an elaborate beaded necklace, the arms with several bangles and bracelets, the head adorned with a tiara, 85cm.
