QING DYNASTY
The pear-shaped body with an ovoid neck, cast in relief with stylised taotie masks, with large formal lappets to the body and further bands of geometric waves, bats and dragon motifs on a cell-ground, the large loop side-handles boldly cast as mythical beasts, the base with an indistinct eight character mark, 5kg, 39.5cm.
