Decorated with four large cartouches, each enclosing two fans painted with a figure in a garden and a building, with antiques, scrolls and books surrounding the scenes, the panels divided by bunches and branches of blooming flowers, with bands of further floral designs to the shoulder and foot, the base marked with a beribboned precious object, with a paper label reading 'ex collection Lord Chesterfield Beningbrough', together with a wood cover, 29.2cm.
