A large Italian pottery dish, covered in a pinkish brown glaze and bearing an armorial shield and the inscription 'Mantuæ Marc.s Aloisiu.s Gonzaga' presumably relating to the 16th century saint, the base incised 'Andes Me Fecit', probably 19th century, old repairs and rivets to the rim, 42.5cm.
