An unusual Chelsea leaf-shaped dish

An unusual Chelsea leaf-shaped dish, thickly potted and moulded with veins, the exterior with further smaller leaves and flower tendrils, painted with flowers and a green caterpillar, c.1755, 15.2cm. Provenance: From the estate of Niel Rimington (1928-2009) of Fonthill Old Abbey Estate, Wiltshire.
