A Spanish pottery albarello, the waisted body painted with a cartouche containing a hand holding a sword, possibly the emblem of the Monastery of Sahagun, the reverse with a blue foliate design, probably 18th century, 25.8cm.
Provenance: From the estate of Niel Rimington (1928-2009) of Fonthill Old Abbey Estate, Wiltshire.
