A tall Royal Worcester vase and cover, painted by Horace Price with a small panel containing a vase of roses and foliage on a table top, signed, within a broad scrolling border of pink, green and blue enamels on a peach and gilt ground, printed mark and date code for 1919, 46cm. (2)
Horace Price lost his right forefinger in the First World War and at the time this vase was made would still have been learning how to paint with his missing digit.
