An enamel scent bottle, painted with flower sprays between panels of raised scrolls and dots on various coloured grounds, the metal stopper formed as a bird, 2nd half 18th century, the stopper possibly a replacement, minor faults, 7.3cm. Cf. The Catalogue of the Schreiber Collection, Volume III, pl.11 nos. 219 and 220 for similar examples.
