A Chelsea chamberstick fable group, of The Vain Jackdaw, two peacocks stripping the unfortunate bird of his stolen plumage before blossoming bocage, raised on a wide scrolling base, gold anchor mark, c.1765, some damage, the sconce lacking, 18.5cm.
