A set of six Spode pearlware plates

A set of six Spode pearlware plates, printed with lilac flower sprays within gilt rims, an unusual Davenport creamware plate brightly painted in polychrome with two Chinese musicians, two pearlware plates and a similar shaped dish, probably Davenport, painted in sepia with farm buildings and village landscapes, two Wedgwood oval basketweave dishes and a Wedgwood creamware plate painted with a large rose, late 18th / early 19th century, minor damages, 28cm max. (13) From the collection of Anthony Ray (1926-2009), ceramic historian. The pair to the Davenport creamware plate was presented to the V&A in 1975.
