A good Delft vase

A good Delft vase, in the Chinese Transitional style, finely painted in blue and manganese with four Chinese figures seated in a landscape, the knopped flared neck with foliate motifs and lappets, late 17th / early 18th century, 21.4cm. From the collection of Anthony Ray (1926-2009), ceramic historian, and by repute from the collection of Arthur Lane (1909-1963).
