An interesting pearlware jug of unusually massive size

An interesting pearlware jug of unusually massive size, boldly painted with large flowers beneath a border of wild rose and other blooms, unmarked, 19th century, some restoration, 48cm high. Very few jugs of this size are recorded and it is probable that this jug was made as a promotional or display piece.
