A rare Pratt ware commemorative jug dated 1809, moulded and coloured with a depiction of the apotheosis of Lord Nelson, the naval hero driving Neptune's chariot while a wreath is held over his head, the sides with Britannia and Fame, beneath the spout inscribed with the initials JW above the date 1809, restoration to the spout and handle, 15.5cm.
