λAn Anglo-Indian tortoiseshell and ivory box, Vizagapatam, with pierced and lac decorated panels, one with a lion, the interior with a metal plaque inscribed 'TO SQUADRON LEADER T.E. PAVITT FROM THE PROFESSOR AND STUDENTS OF TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING GUINDY, MADRAS, WITH APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE', the base inscribed with students' signatures, early 20th century, together with a typed letter from Professor Sreenivasan expressing his gratitude for the Squadron Leader Parvitt's help, 7.6cm high, 26.8cm wide, 12cm deep.
