A late 19th century Chinese padouk altar table, with burr panels above a fret frieze carved with dragons' heads on open panel supports, 83.4cm high, 115.3cm wide, 39.3cm deep.
Provenance: Acquired by Chief Inspector John Shaw, Shanghai Municipal Police (1903-1928) and by descent.
