A Victorian Isle of Man Special Constable's truncheon, on a black ground, decorated with a crown, 'VR', an Isle of Man triskelion symbol, three legs conjoined at the thigh and 'S.C.' 'C', with a ribbed handle, 41cm long.
A similar example is illustrated in Fenn Clarke and described as 'earliest issue, Manx Arms'.
