round barrel 8.25 in with a sighting groove formed in an astragal near the breech, drum-and-nipple conversion to percussion ignition, London proof, bevelled lock signed 'BARBAR', foliate engraved hammer, full stock with steel furniture, heavy spurred butt cap, wooden ram rod; together with a continental flintlock pistol of similar form, set up as for the Eastern Mediterranean trade (2)
