with a 32in hollow triangular-section blade with pierced and engraved copper shell guard, steel openwork grip with gilded details to small panels set in a beaded framework, steel mounted leather scabbard; together with a Victorian court sword, lenticular section blade 31 in. with etched decoration including VR cypher and the retailer's name 'STARKEY 5 OLD BOND STREET LONDON', gilt-brass hilt with helmet pommel and shell guard with writhing beasts in relief within a beaded border, gilt-brass mounted leather scabbard; a Georgian Infantry officer's spadroon with brass hilt of 1796 type and an Indian made sword of Infantry type with 'gothic' hilt, the latter with scabbard and sword bag (4)
