λ A Victorian coromandel dressing case, with brass mounts, the hinged lid with an engraved plaque with a monogram and a date '1862', the underside of the lid with a leather framed mirror and a letter pouch, above a fitted interior with cut glass bottles and jars, with engraved silver lids by Thomas Whitehouse, hallmarked London 1861, with a lift-out tray, the central compartment with bone and ivory handled utensils, with engraved silver hinges and a lock, the base drawer operated by a push button mechanism, with a leather cover revealing divisions for jewellery, 18.4cm high, 32.5cm wide, 23.2cm deep.
