Jean-Baptiste called Auguste Clésinger (1814-1883). A bronze group: an 'Allegory of Rome', with a seated classical lady flanked by two boys, with a suit of armour and a helmet, signed to the back 'J. CLESINGER, ROME 1860' and 'F. BARBEDIENNE. FONDEUR', with foundry pastille 'A. COLLAS BREVETE', 39.5cm high, 45.5cm wide.
