A late George II needlework sampler by Hannah Hodgson, worked in coloured silks with alphabets and numbers, flowers, crowns and a moral passage titled 'MORAL PRECEPS', inscribed 'HANNAH HODGSON'S work taught by Mary Ann Smith of Bradford and finish'd on the 25th of Apr 1757', 29.7 x 23.5cm, in a later glazed bird's eye maple frame.
