Ballooning interest. A French painted chicken-skin and bone fan, depicting the Mongolfier flight at Versaille 19th September 1783, together with two other panels of balloon flights inscribed 'Premiere Experience de Parachute par Sebastien LENORMAND' and 'Descente de Jacques Garnerin en Parachute le 22 Octobre 1797', painted with birds and floral swags, late 18th / early 19th century, in a later gilt metal mounted, glazed case, with an easel back, 28.5 x 47.3cm.
