A Victorian mahogany surgeon's case
A Victorian mahogany surgeon's case, with brass mounts, the hinged lid centred a plaque inscribed 'Robert Merry', the plush lined and divided interior with various utensils, some associated, including: an amputation saw and two other knives all with ebonised handles, the steel blades stamped 'WRIGHT LONDON ROAD, LONDON', a tourniquet, a tenaculum forceps, a small hacksaw and other instruments, above a divided base drawer, with sunken brass handles, 13.5cm high, 43cm wide, 27.5cm deep.
