A Victorian black leather writing slope, with gilt tooled decoration, the lid with an engraved sunken brass handle, the underside with a stationery compartment, and with a pair of scissors, paper knife and a quill, with a mahogany pen tray and a glass inkwell, with a pair of inset ivorine aide-mémoires, 14.4cm high, 30.3cm wide, 24.2cm deep.
