A late 19th century Irish carved oak high back open armchair
A late 19th century Irish carved oak high back open armchair, in Jacobean style, the scroll crest centred with a coat of arms for the O'Donnell or Tyrconnell families, inscribed with the motto 'IN HOC SIGNO VINCES' above a cane back, the frame carved with scrolls and leaves on cabriole legs and hairy paw feet, united by 'X' stretcher.
