A Charles II oak panel back armchair

A Charles II oak panel back armchair, the scroll carved crest above panels and wings of stylized scaly dragons flanking an arched back with a central flower motif, the downswept arms with fret carving to a replaced seat on turned and block supports united by peripheral stretchers.

Provenance: The Old Rectory, Little Langford, Wiltshire. Sold by order of Trustees of the Estate of the late Miss S.F. Rooke.
